Riyadh: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh witnessed the signature of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and the Saudi Arabian Oil Group (Saudi Aramco) in Riyadh on October 29 afternoon (local time). Chairman and CEO of Saudi Aramco, Amin Al-Nasser, was also present at the event. The Vietnamese Prime Minister is on a working visit to Saudi Arabia and attending the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Summit.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this agreement marks a significant step in strengthening the energy cooperation between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia. The collaboration is expected to enhance the capabilities of PVN through shared expertise and resources, potentially leading to increased energy production and technological advancements in the sector. This deal is seen as a strategic move for both nations to bolster their positions in the global energy market.
