Police take Santi’s wife to the Criminal Court, Ratchada, and oppose bail.


Police take “Pachani”, “ Santi’s ” wife who escaped arrest, to the Criminal Court, Ratchada, for the first detention period, while opposing bail. The suspect apologized to the police and asked her husband to turn himself in.

Bang Sue Police Station investigators took Ms. Pochanee, Mr. Santi’s wife, the suspect who threatened the police and held a gun to his own throat, before arresting her in Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province on four charges: carrying a gun in public without permission, possessing a gun without permission, possessing narcotics, and wrongfully detaining an officer, to the Criminal Court, Ratchada, for initial detention. At the end of the petition, the investigator objected to bail due to fears that he would flee and the high penalty for the crime.

Before Ms. Pachanee was taken out of the cell, she looked stressed and still wearing a patient’s uniform from the Police General Hospital, from having been sent to treat a foot wound earlier. Ms. Pachanee told the officers that
she did not want to leave the cell because she was afraid of being photographed.

Then, Ms. Pachanee agreed to leave the cell to allow the officers to take her to the prisoner transport vehicle to the Ratchada Criminal Court. During the detention, the media tried to ask her feelings and whether she wanted to apologize to the police for being forced to leave the scene with a gun, and what message she wanted to give to her husband, Mr. Santi. Ms. Pachanee apologized and wanted her husband to surrender to the police without hesitation.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Noppasin Poolsawat, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau in charge of investigations, said that from questioning, the suspect confessed to committing the crime. The day before the incident, he had taken drugs. He had traveled from another province to see Mr. Santi. However, when he learned that Mr. Santi was being prosecuted for theft and evading arrest warrants, on the day of the incident, the suspect went to see her husband. However, he found tha
t there were many police officers and reporters at her husband’s house, which made him stressed and he decided to commit the crime.

However, the Metropolitan Police Investigation Unit, Metropolitan Police Investigation Unit 2, and Bang Sue Police Station Investigation Unit have been ordered to urgently track down Mr. Santi. It is expected that it will take some time. It is confirmed that the police officers will urgently track down the suspect and take legal action.

There are reports from the investigation team in tracking down Mr. Santi after Mr. Santi escaped through the police cordon amid suspicion. It was found that after the incident, Mr. Santi left the area and went into hiding in the Lat Phrao area, which is an area where Mr. Santi has many acquaintances and is the last point where the police got a clue. However, the investigation team has expanded the investigation beyond Bangkok because Mr. Santi has acquaintances in other provinces as well.
