Surin: The Prime Minister visited Surin Province to monitor the situation on the Thai-Cambodian border, offering encouragement to the Suranaree Forces and meeting with the people at the Chong Chom checkpoint.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, and Deputy Minister of Defense General Nattapol Nakphanit, traveled from the 2nd Military Airport, Wing 6 (W.6), Don Mueang, Bangkok, to Buriram Airport in Ron Thong Subdistrict, Satuek District, Buriram Province. The purpose of their visit was to inspect the work in Surin Province and assess the situation on the Thai-Cambodian border.
At 11:05 a.m., the Prime Minister chaired a meeting at the Ampornphiman meeting room, Kabcheing Hospital, Kabcheing District, Surin Province, to discuss the resolution of the Thai-Cambodian border issue and the implementation of measures to support and assist people in the seven border provinces.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister inspected the Suranaree Force Operations Base in Kap Choeng District, Surin Province, where she provided morale-boosting items to the personnel. She also engaged with the local community to discuss the current situation at the Chong Chom Permanent Border Crossing in Kap Choeng District, Surin Province, before returning later in the day.
