Bangkok: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) has been honored with six awards at the EIA Monitoring Awards 2024, demonstrating its adherence to high environmental standards in its operations across various locations in Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, Chief Executive Officer of PTTEP, announced the company’s recognition at the event, highlighting its commitment to environmental compliance. The awards were presented by Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, underscoring the importance of maintaining environmental integrity in industrial activities. PTTEP received accolades for its projects across multiple provinces, including the Sao Thian-A Oil Field Development in Sukhothai, the Sirikit and Central S1 Petroleum Production in Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, and Sukhothai, and the Kamphaeng Saen Petroleum Production in Nakhon Pathom. Additionally, the company was recognized for its onshore exploration and production in Sup
han Buri, the Sinphuhom Natural Gas Production in Udon Thani and Khon Kaen, and an offshore project in Block G2/61.
These awards reflect PTTEP’s ongoing efforts to ensure that its exploration and production activities are conducted responsibly, prioritizing environmental safety and compliance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) standards.
