Queen Prepares for SEA Games by Joining Sailing Practice

Pattaya: Her Majesty the Queen participated in sailing practice in preparation for the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which Thailand is set to host. On 19 and 20 November 2025, she joined the Thai national sailing team at Ocean Marina Resort in Pattaya City, Chonburi Province, for training sessions scheduled at 2:00 PM. Her Majesty is set to compete in the Keelboat SSL 47 category during the SEA Games, taking place from 15-18 December 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, the SSL 47 keelboat is a large sailboat, measuring 47 feet in length. This event has been introduced to the 33rd SEA Games, requiring athletes to demonstrate technique, strength, precision, and teamwork while navigating various wind and wave conditions. The competition will include athletes from Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Myanmar.
