Raise the standard of Thai boxing camps and the profession of Thai boxing teachers in China


The Office of the Boxing Commission of the Sports Authority of Thailand presented a standard Muay Thai camp sign and accelerated the development of the Muay Thai coaching profession in China at the Muay Thai Soft Power event in Beijing.

The Boxing Commission of the Sports Authority of Thailand has organized the awarding of honorary plaques, certificates and certification plates to Muay Thai gyms that have passed the inspection standards of Muay Thai camps abroad. This is one of the activities of ‘Master Class Road Show Muay Thai Soft Power’ in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, to respond to the government’s policy to use Muay Thai as a tool to disseminate culture and stimulate the country’s economy through the promotion and support of the sports industry, including opening clinics to teach the art of Muay Thai, testing national labor skills standards in the field of Muay Thai trainers, and inspecting the standards of Muay Thai camps.

The Tu Teng Ge To Muay Thai Camp, located in the heart of Beijing, is
one of the Muay Thai camps that has passed the standard inspection by the Office of the Boxing Sports Commission, covering the knowledge and skills of the Muay Thai teachers, the suitability of the location, the complete modern Muay Thai equipment, and the teaching program of the art of Muay Thai. Mr. Preecha Lalun, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand for Professional Sports and Boxing Sports, traveled to personally present the Muay Thai camp standard plaque, which was received by Wei Xu Guang, the camp owner, before expressing his delight and pride that his camp passed the inspection. From now on, he will focus on teaching the art of Muay Thai to the Chinese people and the general public who are interested in learning it to the best of his ability.

Mr. Preecha Lalun, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, said that this Muay Thai camp is suitable according to the standards of the Sports Authority of Thailand Boxing Commission and is ready to proceed with inspections to improve
the quality of the Muay Thai camp and the Muay Thai coaching profession, both in China and around the world.

‘Kru Film’ Wanasanan Suttipiranan, a Muay Thai trainer from Chiang Rai Province who has been working in China for over 2 years, came to test the national labor skill standards in the Muay Thai trainer branch before receiving a certificate. He said that he was happy and grateful that the Thai government saw the importance of promoting the Muay Thai teacher profession because in China there are more people interested in learning Muay Thai. He came to work and earned a salary of around 40,000-50,000 baht, which allowed him to earn an income to support himself and his family.

The Office of the Boxing Commission of the Sports Authority of Thailand is ready to proceed with inspecting standard Muay Thai camps and upgrading the Muay Thai coaching profession in the next ‘Master Class Road Show Muay Thai Soft Power’ event in Calgary, Canada, from September 18-22. –
