Bangkok: “Rakchanok” has addressed the recent dinner meeting with “Anutin,” emphasizing that the discussion centered on the call center gang and the Skyy9 building. She humorously dismissed the idea that the meeting was about forming a government, asserting her readiness to support a Prime Minister who will resolve the political deadlock and initiate new elections.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, a Bangkok MP from the Prachachon Party, took to Facebook to clarify the situation. She confirmed that she, along with Mr. Rangsiman and Mr. Anutin, indeed had dinner together. The meeting was arranged to discuss strategies for managing the call center gang, a subject she has actively debated multiple times. Additionally, the discussion briefly touched on the investigation of the Skyy9 building.
Rakchanok explained that the meeting aimed to facilitate work-related discussions. She dismissed any notions of political maneuvering, underscoring that her interactions with politicians from various parties are always grounded in the collective interest. She questioned the motives behind the public disclosure of the meeting details, emphasizing her focus on progressing her work.
She reiterated the People’s Party’s stance on supporting a Prime Minister willing to break the current political stalemate. The party is prepared to vote for such a leader, provided they agree to dissolve parliament, hold a referendum, establish a Constituent Assembly, and draft a new constitution alongside elections. Rakchanok stressed that the party will not accept any governmental positions and is committed to this unprecedented approach in political history.
