Received the body of a Burmese woman who was hit in the head with a hammer and died in her room.

Very sad, daughter receives body of Myanmar woman who was killed by husband with a hammer in her room in Bang Bon district. Police urgently hunt down the brutal husband.

Yesterday, the daughter of Ms. So Tan Da Ngae, 39 years old (the deceased), who was a shrimp seller at Mahachai Market, traveled to contact the owner of the apartment in Soi Ekkachai 83/1, Ekkachai Road, Khlong Bang Bon Subdistrict, Bang Bon District, Bangkok (where the incident occurred), along with a volunteer lawyer, to ask to open her mother’s room because she could not contact her mother. When she opened the room, she found Ms. So lying dead in a pool of blood with a severe head wound. Nearby, a 1-foot-long hammer stained with blood was found. Bang Khun Thian Police Station officers investigated and estimated that she had been dead for 5 days.

Neighbors reported that Ms. So was with her 41-year-old Myanmar husband, Mr. Tun, and their poodle. Five days ago, at around 9 p.m., they heard the two of them arguing before things went quiet.
They never saw the two of them again, including the poodle, but they admitted that they smelled a strong stench and thought the dog had died in the room. They only found out that Ms. So had died when her daughter came to open the door to her room.

The latest this morning, Mrs. So’s daughter and son-in-law traveled to the hospital to receive their mother’s body to perform religious ceremonies at Wat Si Muang, Tha Sai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province.

Mr. Theven, Ms. So’s son-in-law, told the news team that last Friday (September 6), relatives contacted his girlfriend to say that they had not been able to contact their mother-in-law for several days and felt something was wrong. So they traveled to the apartment, but the apartment owner would not allow it. So he and his girlfriend went to notify a volunteer lawyer for help because they were worried. The lawyer traveled with them and asked to open the room, but they found that their mother-in-law had been brutally murdered. His girlfriend ha
d not seen her mother for a long time, only talking on the phone and knowing that her mother-in-law was seeing a capitalist, but they had never met in person.

Mr. Theven also said that in the past, his girlfriend had always warned his mother-in-law that she did not want him to have a boyfriend because she was worried. His mother-in-law had often told him that she had been arguing with her husband, the capitalist, almost every day until the bad incident happened. He wanted to ask why they had to do this.

As for the case, the investigation team of Bang Khun Thian Police Station is currently expediting the investigation to track down and arrest the financier, who is the husband of the deceased. They are confident that they will be able to arrest and prosecute him according to the law soon.
