Red Sedan Driver Surrenders After Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

Bangkok: The driver of the red sedan involved in a hit-and-run accident has surrendered and agreed to pay for the damages. The incident, which took place at the entrance of Soi Phetkasem 19, resulted in the death of a passenger and left a motorcyclist in a coma.

According to Thai News Agency, the driver of the red sedan claims he did not see the motorcycle as he descended from a bridge. The collision caused the bodies of the passenger, Ms. Jittima, age 30, and the motorcyclist, Mr. Dulyawat, age 27, to be thrown several meters away. The red sedan was later found abandoned at a condominium in the Phetkasem area, not far from the accident site.

Ms. Pairin, the girlfriend of the injured motorcyclist, expressed her distress over the situation. Her boyfriend, who works as a motorcycle taxi and bolt driver, was on duty, dropping off passengers at the time of the incident. He is currently in the ICU, unconscious, and suffering from head, face, and chin injuries.

The chief of the Phasi Charoen Police Station confirmed that the sedan driver has turned himself in and is willing to compensate for all damages. The driver initially maintained that he did not see the motorcycle as he was driving off the bridge.
