Bangkok: The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces has organized a critical meeting with the Special Forces Commanders to address the ongoing Thai-Cambodian border issue. This strategic discussion is scheduled for tomorrow and aims to devise a comprehensive response plan, with the Army Commander taking direct responsibility for the situation.
According to Thai News Agency, General Songwit Noonpakdee, the Supreme Commander, will preside over the 4/2568 Special Session at the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters. The meeting, set for 2:00 p.m., will focus on the Thai-Cambodian border situation, a matter under the purview of the Royal Thai Army. General Pana Klaewplodtook, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, is expected to lead the preparation and implementation of plans to manage the border issue from all angles.
The Air Force, hosting this meeting of the Armed Forces Commanders, has announced the cancellation of media coverage, citing the special nature of the session. In tandem, the National Security Council (NSC) plans to convene a meeting to potentially establish a special task force dedicated to tackling the border problem.
