The Royal Thai Navy clarified the case of a soldier who died while training, revealing the autopsy results from the doctor, which found that the respiratory system and blood circulation system failed. They confirmed that they are ready to investigate the facts and will provide justice to all parties.

Admiral Pasukree Vilairak, a special expert of the Royal Thai Navy, was assigned by Admiral Chiraphol Wongwit, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, to disclose information to the media regarding Mr. Chirat Thongsuwan, Member of Parliament for Chachoengsao Province, Prachachon Party, as a spokesman for the House of Representatives Military Affairs Committee, receiving a complaint from Ms. Nichanan Wangkhahat, a former candidate for Member of Parliament for Chonburi Province, and Ms. Panita, the sister of Private First Class Sirawat, who died during training on July 2, 2024, calling on the Royal Thai Navy to help investigate the facts and cause of death.

Admiral Pasukree said that from the incident that ha

In conclusion, on July 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., Private First Class Sirawat, a conscript attached to the 3rd Naval Police Battalion, Naval Police Department, experienced dizziness and lost consciousness. The trainer rushed him to the emergency room of Somdech Phra Nangchao Sirikit Hospital, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. The doctor informed him at 7:24 p.m. that Private First Class Sirawat had died. The autopsy results showed that he had respiratory and circulatory failure.

In this regard, the Naval Police Department facilitated Private First Class Sirawat’s family to travel from their hometown in Mueang District, Songkhla Province, to receive the body and acknowledge the autopsy results, including facilitating the collection of the body from the hospital to take it for another autopsy at the Police General Hospital’s Institute of Forensic Medicine, as requested by the deceased’s family. Later, the Police Ge
neral Hospital reported the autopsy results that the cause of death was respiratory and circulatory failure, which is consistent with the autopsy results of Somdech Phra Nangchao Sirikit Hospital. The relatives understood and did not hold any grudges about the cause of death until the body was taken to Wat Huarawah, Ranot District, Songkhla Province. In addition, civil servants from the Naval Police Department joined the funeral ceremony, chanted prayers, and facilitated the event every day from July 6 to 10, 2024. On July 11, 2024, which was the cremation day, the Commander of the Naval Police Department, who was the commander of Private First Class Sirawat, along with civil servants under his command, attended the ceremony and provided financial assistance and all funeral expenses to Private First Class Sirawat’s family.

Regarding the question of whether the punishment was excessive, the Royal Thai Navy will investigate according to the evidence available, in a fair and just manner, and would like to expre
