Security Guard Warns Foreign Tourist for Urinating in Front of Shopping Mall, Gets Attacked

Patong: Two foreign male tourists were seen urinating in front of a shopping mall in Patong. A security guard went to warn them, but they became angry and attacked the security guard before fleeing.

According to Thai News Agency, the Phuket Times page posted a clip of two foreign men urinating in front of a shopping mall in the Patong area of Phuket Province. A security guard approached the tourists to advise them against urinating in the area, which has a sign prohibiting such actions. This prompted an angry reaction from the tourists, who attacked the guard, causing serious injury. Another security guard intervened, leading to a scuffle before the tourists managed to escape.

The attacked security guard is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital, suffering from a headache and unable to speak. Consequently, he has not yet filed a complaint against the tourists. It is anticipated that he will lodge a complaint with the Patong Police Station once his condition improves, prompting police action against
those responsible for the incident. The release of this clip has stirred significant dissatisfaction among locals.
