Sisaket: A sedan met with a tragic accident, falling into a canal and passing through a drainpipe on the Sisaket-Khukhan road in Sisaket Province. The accident resulted in two fatalities and left two individuals injured. The driver, Mr. Phetthai, who was approximately 45 years old, was found with his right arm in a cast. Alongside him, the front passenger, Ms. Uraiwan, 23, succumbed to the accident, while the injured were identified as Ms. Uraithip, 23, and Ms. Orrawan, 28. The incident occurred in front of the Si Sa Ket Highway Division, where the white car with a Bangkok license plate was discovered.
According to Thai News Agency, the front of the car was lodged into a drain and was severely damaged. Rescue workers had to employ cutting tools to extricate the injured and deceased from the wreckage. Inside the vehicle, several documents were retrieved, including house registration, an ID card, probation documents, and envelopes sent from prison. Investigations suggest that the car might have lost control or
the driver could have fallen asleep. Authorities are planning to question the injured survivors to determine the exact cause of the accident.
