Senate President says the debate between Dr. Prem and Gen. Sawat is not a problem

Senate President points out that the debate between “Dr. Prem and Gen. Sawat” is not a problem because they work for the common good, there is no need for a middle chain. As for “Dr. Prem”, he did not clarify with Gen. Sawat, mocking whether he was really a soldier or not.

Senate President Mongkol Surassajja gave an interview after the debate between Senator Premsak Piayura and Senator General Sawat Tasana that there was no problem because both parties were adults and worked for the common good, not for personal gain. There was no need for a middleman to clear things up.

While Dr. Premsak gave an interview about the case of clearing the air with Gen. Sawat, he said that there was nothing to clear up because he was the one being bullied. Up until now, Gen. Sawat has not contacted or coordinated to talk at all. As for moving forward with the special committee to study the flood problem, when the matter is finished, it is considered finished and can move forward.

‘I have been with Gen. Chavalit Yongchaiyudh
for a long time. He is a soldier with integrity. But I don’t know if that general is a soldier or not because we talked about asking for a quota of committee members, which was to ask for 15 big-house senators. But in the end, he called and asked me to step back. I don’t know if he is a soldier or not,’ said Dr. Premsak.
