Send the case file of “Pe Rak Phukarn” to the Public Prosecutor to suppress corruption.

The case file of ‘Pe Rak Phukarn’, more than 20,000 pages, along with the opinion to indict 31 suspects, was sent to the Office of the Attorney General for consideration of the case.

Mr. Watcharin Phanurat, Deputy Attorney General of the Investigation Office, Head of the Investigation Inspection or Supervision Working Group and the investigation team brought 31 boxes of documents, totaling more than 20,000 sheets, along with the opinion to indict 31 suspects in the case of a state official demanding 140 million baht or the Pae Rak Phukarn case, to the Office of the Attorney General for the Suppression of Corruption to consider ordering the case.

Mr. Watcharin revealed that this case took more than 1 year to conclude the case, with 31 suspects ordered to be indicted out of 35, divided into 19 police officers and 12 civilians. Of these, 1 person escaped, Mr. Ton Pattaya. Three people were ordered not to be indicted, 2 police officers and 1 civilian, which was a mistaken arrest.

The charges are divided into
groups of police officers who are charged with demanding benefits, neglecting their duties, the NACC Act, and the Enforced Disappearance Act. Meanwhile, the civilian group is charged with supporting officials to neglect their duties. Officials have summoned everyone to hear the order on September 26 to decide whether to file charges.
