SET Imposes Trading Suspension on 9 Companies Over Share Distribution Issues


Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand has placed SP symbols on securities of 9 listed companies due to incomplete distribution of shareholdings by retail shareholders. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has placed SP (Trading Suspension) symbols temporarily prohibiting trading of listed securities for CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited (CIMBT), Grand Canal Land Public Company Limited (GLAND), Laguna Resorts and Hotels Public Company Limited (LRH), NFC Public Company Limited (NFC), Plus Tech Innovation Public Company Limited (PTECH), Royal Orchid Hotel (Thailand) Public Company Limited (ROH), Unique Mining Services Public Company Limited (UMS), and UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited (UOBKH), effective from 5 June 2015, as it was found that the shareholding distribution of retail shareholders was incomplete. The SET has placed CF (Free Float) symbols continuously for 1 year.



According to Thai News Agency, the Stock Exchange of Thailand has placed the SP mark on the securities of KWI Public Company Limited (KWI) since July 4, 2015 due to incomplete distribution of shareholdings by retail shareholders. The Stock Exchange of Thailand has placed the CF mark continuously for 1 year by temporarily opening the trading of KWI securities from June 4 to July 3, 2015 by purchasing through a Cash Balance account. Members must have their customers deposit cash in advance with the member in full before purchasing the securities from the date of the mark onwards until the said incident is resolved.
