Bangkok: A gunman opened fire at the Or Tor Kor Market in Chatuchak before taking his own life, killing six people and injuring two. At approximately 12:00 noon today, officials received a report of a shooting death at the Or Tor Kor Market in Chatuchak. They went to the area to investigate.

According to Thai News Agency, initial findings indicate that the perpetrator, named Mr. Noi, 61 years old, was the owner of a stall at the Or Tor Kor Market. He shot four security guards and two vendors in the head before taking his own life. Officials suspect conflict as the motive.
