Chiang mai: SME D Bank is taking a significant step to assist entrepreneurs in the northern region by organizing the event 'Government Banks Help the People' in Chiang Mai Province. This initiative aims to provide Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with access to low-interest loans and additional promotional benefits.

According to Thai News Agency, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank) is aligning with government policies to stimulate the economy by hosting this event. Scheduled for July 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chiang Mai Grandview Hotel, the event will offer SME entrepreneurs in the northern region the opportunity to access the 'Developing Capital Partners' service. The loan features a special interest rate of 3% per year, fixed for the first three years, with a repayment period extending up to 10 years, catering to all business groups and SME needs.

The event will have a team of consultants available to help attendees access funding sources, with the option to apply for loans on the spot. Moreover, there are two special promotions available. First, applicants who get their loans approved will receive a discount on the project analysis fee (Front End Fee) of up to 0.25%. Second, participants will have the opportunity to apply for the "DX by SME D Bank" platform, enabling them to upgrade their business operations at no cost. Entrepreneurs from Chiang Mai and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend the event free of charge.
