According to Thai News Agency, on August 27, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Private Adison Pomklang, of the 1st Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, encountered a landmine explosion while carrying out his duties in the Prasat Ta Kwai area. The explosion resulted in severe injuries, leading to the loss of his lower right leg.
