Mrs. Pansiri Kulnatsiri, MP for Sukhothai Constituency 1, Pheu Thai Party, revealed that she was assigned by Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, Minister of Public Health, to attend the funeral ceremony for two people who died from the landslide in Tambon Khlong Krajong, Amphoe Sawankhalok, Sukhothai Province, namely Mr. Chain, aged 52, and Miss Chutima or Nong Chui, aged 10, at Wat Khlong Krajong, Amphoe Sawankhalok, Sukhothai Province.

‘I would like to express my condolences for the incident that resulted in deaths and injuries. Although it was a flood, we will take all possible precautions to reduce losses. I understand that no one wants an incident like this to happen, but when it
does, you will see that all agencies are helping quickly and not abandoning the people to face the problem alone. Mr. Somsak, in particular, is following this matter closely and has ordered the Public Health Department to urgently go to the area to provide assistance, both in terms of taking care of the injured and providing mental health support. He has also urged local MPs to help coordinate cooperation from all agencies to help with this incident to the fullest extent,’ said Ms. Pansiri.

Mrs. Pansiri also revealed that she also gave encouragement to the relatives of the deceased, namely Mrs. Wanphen’s mother, who is Nong Chui’s grandmother. Mrs. Pansiri also revealed that she also went to the area of ??the landslide in Village No. 4, Khlong Krajong Subdistrict, along with the district officer, the kamnan, the director of the subdistrict health promotion hospital, and the village headman, who were informed that initial assistance for the two houses damaged by the landslide had been prepared. Currently, they are in the process of finding land to build new houses for both houses, which originally belonged to the Marine Department. In addition, from the survey, it was found that there were still approximately 30 houses on both sides of the riverbank in Village No. 4, Khlong Krajong Subdistrict, and it was found that there was one more house that was at risk of subsidence.
