Chanapat: Southern MPs from the Klatham Party are uniting in preparation for the upcoming election, with plans to field strong candidates and establish a presence in numerous southern provinces.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chanonpat Naksua, MP for Songkhla from the Klatham Party (KPT), announced that the party’s southern MPs have collaboratively chosen candidates who meet all legal and party-specific criteria. These criteria include knowledge, ability, understanding, and the capacity to effectively engage with local communities. The selected candidates are expected to serve as representatives by addressing issues based on the party’s policies, with many individuals expressing interest in running for office.

Mr. Chanonpat further stated that key figures in the southern region, including Mr. Samphan Mayusoh from Narathiwat District 3, Mr. Amin Mayusoh from Narathiwat District 2, Mr. Anukul Prueksanusak, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s Office, and himself, have been actively strategizing for the forthcoming election. They are ready to participate in the electoral contest regardless of its timing.

‘The Kla Tham Party is ready to send quality candidates for the public to consider the most. We will send candidates with goals, not randomly. There are many areas in the southern provinces where we are determined to plant our flag,’ said Mr. Chanonpat.
