Suspect in gold robbery remanded in custody, the suspect remains silent

Bangkok, Min Buri police take a suspect in a 40 baht gold robbery to be detained after arresting him in Nakhon Nayok. The suspect has kept his mouth shut and has not spoken.

Min Buri Police Station officers took Mr. Phongsathon, the suspect in the robbery of a gold shop in the Sukhapiban 3 area, who stole more than 40 baht worth of gold, to the Min Buri Criminal Court for detention. While taking the suspect to the detention center, the suspect did not say anything and looked indifferent. The police officers objected to bail because it was an audacious crime and he had committed multiple crimes in several areas.

This case happened on July 18th at around 11:00 AM. Mr. Phongsathon, aged 26, went to rob 40 baht worth of gold at a famous gold shop in Sukhapiban 3 area. He committed the crime in just 36 seconds before fleeing. In the morning of July 19th, he was finally arrested by the police and brought to the custody today.
