“Sutin” points out that we have to wait for the Pheu Thai Party’s resolution to send “Chaikasem” to sit as Prime Minister or not, believing that it will restore confidence, confirming that he is still fit, waiting for the opportunity to sit as Defense Minister, does not see it as likely to be filed to interfere after the government leaders entered the Chansongla house.
Mr. Sutin Khlangsaeng, MP for the Pheu Thai Party and acting Minister of Defense, gave an interview before the Pheu Thai Party MP meeting about the case in which Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister, summoned the core leaders of the coalition government to discuss at his house in Chan Song La yesterday (14 August), which caused many people to see it as interference from outsiders. He said that they knew each other and called for consultation as usual, nothing official, just a normal consultation.
When asked if he was worried that someone would file a lawsuit later on, in the case of outsiders interfering in the party, Mr. Sutin said
that it shouldn’t have gone to that extent because the situation is like this. People who know each other must discuss it. The discussion is not about deciding the name of Mr. Chaikasem Nitisiri, the prime ministerial candidate of the Pheu Thai Party, to be nominated for a vote as prime minister. The name mentioned is just an assumption because the nomination must be an official party resolution.
As for Mr. Chaikasem’s readiness to accept the position of Prime Minister to govern the country, Mr. Sutin said that from the latest analysis, Mr. Chaikasem is healthy, strong, has no problems, and in terms of knowledge, ability and experience, he is second to none. Therefore, if the Pheu Thai Party resolves to nominate Mr. Chaikasem to the House of Representatives, he is confident that he will receive votes because the party agrees. However, if the meeting resolves not to nominate Mr. Chaikasem, it means that the party has analyzed that he will not be accepted.

usly. There is no problem with trust. We also work as a team and have a good team, so we will continue. I believe that if the MPs and the parliament accept it, it can be sold. As for whether the public will accept it or not, Mr. Chaikasem has offered himself as a prime minister candidate since the beginning. It is considered that he has already submitted himself and considered by the public,’ said Mr. Sutin.
When asked about the change in ministerial positions after this, Mr. Sutin said that he did not know and would have to wait until after the prime minister was appointed.
As for Mr. Sutin, will he continue to hold the position of Defense Minister? Mr. Sutin said, ‘I’m not sure. We can’t determine ourselves. We don’t know where we will be or what we will do.’ When asked if he was tired of this position, Mr. Sutin said, ‘I’m still fit. It depends on the opportunity.’
