Bangkok: The price of sweet coconuts has significantly decreased, now standing at 4 baht per piece, with an excess of 2 million pieces available daily.
According to Thai News Agency, the dramatic price drop is attributed to a surplus in supply, leading to a plentiful availability of sweet coconuts in the market. As the supply continues to exceed demand, consumers can benefit from the low prices, while producers may face challenges in managing the excess stock.
In a separate event, more than 40 Isan folk music bands participated in a historic ceremony to honor their teachers. The event highlighted the cultural significance of music in the Isan region and the deep respect musicians hold for their mentors.
