Thai Government Signs Agreement for Advanced Gripen E and F Fighter-Bombers

Bangkok: The Thai and Swedish governments have signed a cooperation agreement for the purchase of Gripen E and F fighter-bombers. Despite the agreement, it will take at least four more years before Thailand receives the aircraft. During this period, a joint development framework will be established to facilitate the transition.

According to Thai News Agency, the newly purchased Gripen fighters are more efficient than the existing models. The Gripen E and F models come with new specifications that enhance their capabilities compared to the older versions currently in use. This advancement is part of an ongoing effort to upgrade and modernize Thailand’s military equipment.
