Bangkok: Thai Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra recently hosted a grand dinner for the leaders and core members of the coalition parties at the Rosewood Hotel, marking a significant gathering under her leadership. Held in the Pavilion West banquet room on the 5th floor, the event featured a luxurious menu with delicacies such as abalone, caviar, and Hokkaido scallops, celebrating the first such assembly since Ms. Paethongtarn took office.
According to Thai News Agency, the dinner was an occasion for joy and informal interactions among the high-profile attendees, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, and other key figures from various coalition parties. The Prime Minister personally greeted the guests, adding a personal touch to the welcome.
The event showcased the unity and camaraderie within the coalition, as leaders such as Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minis
ter of Interior and Leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, and Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and Leader of the Democrat Party, engaged in friendly discussions before the dinner. The menu also included other exquisite dishes like honey pork barbecue, walnut salad with onion sauce, scallop soup, tiger prawns, and tofu, highlighting the no-special-theme yet lavish approach of the evening.
