Thai Women’s National Football Team Begins Training in Mexico Ahead of Matches Against Venezuela and Mexico


TOLUCA: The Thai women’s national football team, known as “Chaba Kaew,” conducted their first training session in Mexico in preparation for their upcoming warm-up match against Venezuela on October 24. This marks the beginning of their participation in the International Women’s Preparation Match series, scheduled to take place from October 21 to 30.

According to Thai News Agency, the team, led by acting head coach Nuengruthai Sarathongwian, is focused on acclimating to Toluca’s weather, which is currently around 16 degrees Celsius, and ensuring players undergo necessary physical recovery. The initial training session lasted for an hour and a half.

The “Chaba Kaew” team is set to play two matches during their stay in Mexico. Following their game against Venezuela, they will face off against the host nation. The match against Venezuela is scheduled for 5:00 a.m. Thailand time on October 24.
