Bangkok: Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao has announced plans to organize a seminar for the Kla Tham Party to demonstrate its readiness for the upcoming election, focusing on policies aimed at grassroots communities, specifically in education and agriculture.
According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Col. Thammanat, serving as an advisor to the Kla Tham Party, shared details about the seminar scheduled for July 11-13. This marks the first such event for the party, with MPs and prospective MPs from various regions expected to attend. The seminar aims to showcase the party’s preparedness for the election and strengthen the bonds among its members. Thammanat emphasized that readiness is crucial for politicians and political institutions, and this seminar acts as a declaration of their preparedness.
When questioned about the possibility of an impending election, Thammanat suggested that while the election is not expected to occur later than 2027, it could happen sooner. He stressed the importance of being prepared from this point forward.
Discussing the party’s strategy for the election campaign, Thammanat stated that Kla Tham Party is responsible for overseeing the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the Ministry of Education. The party’s focus will be on grassroots communities, targeting education and the agricultural sector, which includes over 50 million people in the country. The Kla Tham Party plans to implement strategies to assist these communities in overcoming poverty.
