Thanakorn Expresses Discontent with Palang Pracharath Party Dynamics

Bangkok: Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, a party-list MP and deputy leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party (RTSC), has expressed his discontent with the current dynamics within the Palang Pracharath Party, describing it as less welcoming and more of a mere “residence” than a political home. He conveyed his sentiments following the signing of a petition to the Prime Minister to adjust the cabinet according to party proportions.

According to Thai News Agency, Thanakorn shared his thoughts on Facebook, reflecting on his political journey and his commitment to working for the people’s benefit while adhering to the principles of nation, religion, and monarchy. He praised General Prayut Chan-o-cha, who he regards as a model of sacrifice and honesty, and expressed his unwavering respect for him as a leader. Thanakorn acknowledged that the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party was built with the intentional support of “Uncle Tu,” General Prayut, to establish a quality political entity within the Thai political system.

Thanakorn further explained that despite his faith in the leadership and the initial collaborative effort to build the party, the change in leadership left him feeling like a mere “resident” within the party. He emphasized his commitment to serving the people and stated his decision to pursue his own path due to the changing dynamics within the party. Thanakorn reiterated that his focus has always been on being an effective MP, engaging in parliamentary debates, addressing the people’s issues, and ensuring open communication with the party.

In recent days, Thanakorn has become aware of news reports speculating about changes within the party, including his involvement. He used the platform to clarify that his political decisions are driven solely by the desire to achieve the greatest benefit for the people and the country. He reassured his supporters of his dedication to political ethics and the ideals upheld by General Prayut, acknowledging that any disappointment from his supporters would be met with understanding and a promise to uphold their faith.

Thanakorn concluded by expressing confidence that, in time, the truth will become evident to the public, highlighting who truly stands by their principles.
