Bangkok: Thanet Wongsa has officially declared through his attorney that he has no connections with The Icon Group, dispelling rumors of his involvement despite his long-standing professional relationship with Boss Paul.
According to Thai News Agency, the clarification came after allegations and speculations circulated regarding Wongsa’s involvement with The Icon Group. Lawyer Decha Kittiwittayanan, representing Wongsa, confirmed that although Wongsa had collaborated with Boss Paul for approximately seven years, there was no link between him and the Icon Group. This statement was part of a broader clarification which also included details from Lawyer Tum, Secretary-General of the People’s Lawyer Team Foundation, who mentioned attempts by an advisor of Boss Paul to engage him in political and business endeavors, which he declined.
Further details emerged when Lawyer Tum shared on his personal Facebook page about persistent invitations from Boss Paul’s advisor, reflecting on the influence of a figure known on
ly as “Boss Th”, a key player in network marketing. The narrative took another turn when a popular Facebook page posted about a bestselling book sponsored by the network, aligning with the strategies mentioned by Boss Paul’s advisor.
Additionally, Lawyer Decha addressed another aspect of the saga involving a bank allegedly connected to the Icon Group. The bank reached out to clarify its position, firmly stating that it had no dealings with the Icon Group, further distancing Wongsa from the controversy.
