The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army inspects the Forward Command of ISOC Region 4.


Pattani, 8 Oct. – Army Commander visits ISOC Region 4 Forward Command, provides guidelines, follows royal strategy in operations, strengthens security in southern border provinces.

General Pana Klaewplodthuk, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, traveled to inspect the operations of units in the southern border provinces at the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward Command (ISOC Region 4 Forward Command), Sirindhorn Camp, Khao Tum Subdistrict, Yarang District, Pattani Province, where he was welcomed by Lieutenant General Paisal Noosang, Commander of the 4th Army Region/Director of the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4.

By ISOC Region 4, the Office reported the situation and results of operations in various areas, including the adjustment of the organization structure and personnel to be appropriate according to the important operational policies in 5 areas, consisting of 1) area control and law enforcement work, 2) drug prevention and solution work, 3) promotion of coexist
ence under a strong multicultural society, 4) understanding creation to lead to solving problems for sustainable peace, and 5) integration of security and development work that focuses on driving plans together with all sectors.

On this occasion, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army has given a policy for operations, instructing all sectors to adopt the royal strategic guidelines of ‘Understanding, Reaching Out, Developing’ and the ‘Sufficiency Economy Philosophy’, promote a multicultural society in the area, reduce the creation of various conditions, and integrate all sectors to work together in harmony, using the national security strategy and the Southern Border Provinces Administration and Development Action Plan 2023-2027 as a framework for operations, while emphasizing that commanders at all levels closely supervise personnel in terms of discipline and compliance with safety measures, strictly prohibiting personnel from being involved in benefits and illegal activities. At the same time, the e
fficiency of members of the Southern Border Provinces Volunteer Defense Corps must be maintained to support the guidelines so that they can replace military personnel according to their capabilities, including considering the enforcement of laws within the framework of authority to maintain security and create sustainable peace in the area.-313.-Thai News Agency
