The Equestrian Sports Association, together with the Royal Thai Army, the Royal Horse Guards Unit, and PTT Public Company Limited, are supporting food and dried grass.


The Equestrian Association of Thailand, together with the Royal Thai Army Animal Department and the Royal Horse Unit, along with partners PTT Public Company Limited, B.Grimm, Perfect Companion Group Co., Ltd., Royal Stable Unit of Thailand B.GRIMM MaxWin, the Royal Thai Army Animal Department, HorseMove Thailand, and the Animal Battalion (Taksin Camp), supported food and hay, medicine and medical supplies, and supported the relocation of areas for victims and animals affected by flooding in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.

On Saturday, October 5, 2014, the Department of Army Veterinary Affairs, Head of the Northern Region Veterinary Education Service Area, 3rd Army Veterinary Education Service Area, along with personnel from 3rd Army Veterinary Education Service Area, and 37 Army Veterinary Education Service Area Battalion, representing the network, provided assistance to people affected by the flood in Tambon Kuet Chang, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.

Donated 200 bales of dry grass and 3
0 sacks of Maxwin horse feed to Ban Mae Taman, Tambon Kuet Chang, Amphoe Mae Taeng, to be used as food for affected animals in the area.

Donate dog food, cat food and watermelon to the Elephant Care and Conservation Center, Kuet Chang Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, for the center’s staff to feed the center’s animals.

The delivery of dry grass and animal feed was received by Mr. Anusorn Homkhajorn, Livestock Officer, Chiang Mai Province, and Mr. Narin Nawipap, Livestock Officer, Mae Taeng District.

The Elephant Conservation and Care Center will move the horses to Ban Mae Taman, Tambon Kuet Chang, Amphoe Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai Province, once the corrals are complete (currently under construction).

The Department of Livestock also has a plan to have local agencies provide fresh-cut Pangola grass, 1 ton per day, and to continue to survey the demand for Maxwin horse feed in flood-stricken areas.
