Big Or” prepares to make a statement this afternoon on the issue of The Icon Group, with the number of victims increasing to more than 300, with damages of more than 118 million baht.
The Consumer Protection Police Division’s Complaint Center, 2nd floor, Pracharak Building, Central Investigation Bureau, reporters reported that while there are victims of the case of investing money with The Icon Group Company Limited, they have been continuously coming to file complaints, and it is expected that more will come today as well.
Pol. Col. Uthen Nuipin, deputy spokesman of the Royal Thai Police, revealed the progress of the case, saying that after the Royal Thai Police set up a complaint center at the Consumer Protection Police Division for victims of this case from October 10 to present, investigators have already questioned 306 victims, with a total damage value of 118 million baht.
At around 2:00 p.m. today, Pol. Lt. Gen. Akkaradech Pimolsri, Assistant Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police and head o
f the working group, will come to announce the progress of the case. The working group has held a meeting and is expected to conduct an inspection operation at several locations related to the company.
