From the meeting of the members of the House of Representatives of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, led by Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, as the leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, and Mr. Ekkanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, as the secretary-general of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party.

In this meeting, the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party discussed preparations for the House of Representatives’ consideration of the law this week.

In particular, the law proposed by the members of the House of Representatives of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party is the Excise Tax Act (No. ..) B.E. ….

This law will be a law with the main content of a
llowing community enterprises to produce colored liquor, whereas previously only white liquor could be produced.

Increasing the production of this kind of colored liquor will increase the value of agricultural products. It is believed that each area and each community will bring their products to produce this type of colored liquor, such as Longan liquor from Lamphun Province, Pineapple liquor from Ratchaburi Province, and Mayongchit liquor from Nakhon Nayok Province.

In addition, the proposed law will increase the supply in the downstream industry for agricultural products, creating added value for agricultural products, which is one of the visions of Mr. Ekkanat Promphan, Minister of Industry.

Ultimately, this law will increase the number of domestic producers of colored liquor, destroying the monopoly of the liquor group, and the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party sincerely hopes to receive support after the draft law is proposed.
