These targets are not just numbers, but represent the government’s ongoing commitment to making Thailand a world-class destination renowned for its rich cultural heritage, natural beauty and warm hospitality.

The Prime Minister proposed measures to promote tourism to achieve the above goals through the following projects: 1) Thai Charms, presenting unique cultural experiences that make Thailand special, from world-famous cuisine to traditional han
dicrafts, emphasizing the essence of Thai culture.

2) Hidden Gem Cities: Promote lesser-known destinations to offer new and exciting experiences to visitors while distributing tourism revenue throughout the country, thus reducing seasonal tourism factors and bringing economic benefits to all regions.

3) The concept of 5 Must – Do in Thailand tourist activities: Must Taste: Experience the diverse flavors of Thai food. Must Try: Experience the excitement of cultural heritage such as Thai boxing. Must Buy: Discover Thai fashion and local products, including local handicrafts, especially Thai indigo-dyed fabric, which has a unique and distinctive dyeing process.

On this occasion, the executives presented the guidelines for supporting tourism through the establishment of a network of government and private sectors to drive the tourism industry (Tourism Taskforce), which will integrate and work closely with the Thai government and related agencies. They are confident that with the potential of every world-class company that has both experience and expertise in technology, collecting various in-depth data bases will help enhance the efficiency of the Thai tourism sector, focusing on 3 strategic pillars:

1) Improving the experience of tourists thr
oughout the trip, which will cover everything from before the trip, during the trip, to after the trip (Pre-trip, During-trip, Post-trip). Developing a complete travel package, including booking airline tickets, accommodation, transportation, and travel activities, as well as upgrading travel standards, linking public transportation systems, and presenting a platform to alert in the event of emergency situations to take care of safety and build confidence in tourists.

2) Promoting 5 must-do tourist activities in Thailand and Hidden Gems tourist attractions, especially presenting unknown tourist attractions to expand the original tourist routes, which will help distribute income to the community, including helping to support SME groups, small hotel operators, through the use of technology to connect and promote places to attract tourists.

3) Support the organization of festivals and world-class events by being ready to support the organization of various events, including hosting global mega events. Thailand
has the potential and charm of a tourist destination from various activities and excellent food. At the same time, we must prepare the infrastructure to facilitate tourists.

In closing, the Prime Minister expressed his confidence that today’s discussions would be beneficial to all sectors, as the opinions and suggestions received from the executives would help shape future cooperation to enhance the tourism industry and attract more tourists from around the world.
