The Prime Minister listens to the announcement of the results of the study of the 66th batch of National Defence College students.

The Prime Minister joined in listening to the announcement of the results of the study of the 66th class of the National Defence Studies Institute students, indicating that the recommendations were in line with the government’s policy announced to the parliament. He stated that he was a junior of the first class of the National Defence Studies Institute students, praising the army as a refuge for the people in times of peace and floods, and that the army came to help during times of war, and was at the forefront. He stated that the country’s major tasks could not be done by a single organization; all sectors must join forces. He viewed that the political agenda had limited time and wanted to achieve policies within one government.

Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, joined the announcement of the results of the study to support the national strategy of students from the National Defense College (NDC) Class 66, the Armed Forces Command and General Staff College (WDC) Class 65, the Army War College (
WDC) Class 69, the Naval War College (WDC) Class 56, and the Air Force War College (WTA) Class 58.

After attending the announcement of the results of the study to support the national strategy of the students of the National Defense College (NDC), the Prime Minister said, I, Paethongtarn Shinawatra, as a junior of NDC, National Defense College, Future Executive Course, Class 1, today I feel very honored to have the opportunity to come and listen to the results of the study to support the strategy of the students of the National Defense College, Armed Forces Staff College, Army War College, Naval College and Air Force College.

Today, the proposal for national development to lead to a great change in Thailand, Thailand Next, from the students of the National Defense College, Class 66, from listening to everyone, the report is considered to be in line with the government’s policy, which was just announced to the parliament last week, translating the challenges that occur today into opportunities. It is a propo
sal that I and the cabinet that came today have listened to. I feel that it is very useful and there are many things that I have listened to that I have to write down because they are very useful suggestions and recommendations. Of course, the world today is changing rapidly. No matter which institution or organization, they must be prepared to cope with rapid changes. Therefore, it is happening in various eras, such as education, which used to focus on coaching. After a while, coaching is less important. AI is more important. Things are changing all the time and we ourselves must be prepared to change and adapt to the situation every day.

For the proposal of the Defense College students, the draft of the future changes in 4 dimensions, which includes the first one is to repair the foundation of investment to improve the quality of life, develop the quality of education, develop the flood and drought systems throughout the country, including coordinating the private sector to reduce inequality. This will be
something that we can feel because it is during the flood period and we have received cooperation and assistance from all sectors. This is considered a very important force, which the army itself, the Commander of the Internal Security Operations Command, all ministers who help each other. As I have said before, the

great work of the country cannot rely on any one organization or person to make these important things successful. It will require the cooperation and coordination of everyone, all sectors, to be successful and in the end, all benefits will go to the people.

As for the economic turnaround, it aims to create a prosperous economy or use AI technology to develop industries through the policy idea of Open Thailand, apply international knowledge organizations to develop the country, lay the foundation for the country, to increase economic opportunities and deal with global problems at the same time. The students proposed that the government should support the investment to increase, which has been di
scussed since the government of Mr. Settha Thavisin, the former Prime Minister, has developed the economy together, along with developing the government system to create a Digital Government. This is something that our government supports a lot because we want the government to reduce the size and reduce various steps. In fact, we intend to support the one-stop service so that people can access the government service system quickly and conveniently. Now, I have set up a flood coordination center. I have talked to the cabinet and wanted them to adjust the documents that people will receive compensation through many government documents. I emphasize this very much.

For promoting the army to support the challenge of developing into a modern army that is up to date with technology and ready to push the defense industry, all of this is consistent with the government’s policy that was announced to the parliament. In the past, there were both urgent policies that needed to be solved immediately and medium-term poli
cies, long-term policies, and guidelines for driving the national strategy of the 66th batch of students of the National Defense College. This will be very useful for the government’s work in the future.

In terms of the three Armed Forces Command Colleges, the concept of developing the army to become a Thai Army Team Day with a multi-dimensional operational concept creates a flexible mindset to adapt to the current world and is ready to apply military technology to improve work efficiency, making the army a true refuge for the Thai people. I think that in the past, we have seen that the army has truly helped the people and received very good feedback from the people. There used to be a saying that during times of peace, we have the army to help with various problems, whether it be flooding or other disasters that our brothers and sisters face. During times of war, you are at the forefront. This is to make the gap between the people and the army narrow for better coordination and well-being in the future.

‘I
n terms of political positions, we have a political agenda and time constraints in our work. It changes all the time, making continuous problem-solving a challenging and important task for us to be able to complete the policies from start to finish in one government. This is a challenge, but of course, with the time we have, we are trying to accelerate the completion of every policy for the benefit of our fellow citizens. We will feel that our government is strong and beneficial to our fellow citizens today. As the Prime Minister, I would like to ask for an opportunity for everyone to join forces. Everyone is civil servants, private sector, politicians, and many other sectors that are very important in helping develop the country. Let’s all work together to do our best and give each other advice. Today, it is very good that the government will listen and apply it, and come together to make our Thailand a country with opportunities, a country where all Thais dare to have hope, a country of opportunity, making
everyone proud of Thailand, and making Thailand have a better future, starting from today until the future,’ the Prime Minister stated.
