The Prime Minister welcomed and was pleased to meet with the executives of Grab, the leading super app in Southeast Asia. Today’s discussion is a good opportunity to strengthen cooperation, especially in the tourism sector. The Prime Minister also thanked the company for donating 2 million baht to help rehabilitate and provide relief to flood victims in Thailand. He also thanked the company for helping deliver food to flood victims in the northern region.
Mr. Anthony Tan thanked the Prime Minister for welcoming him today. The company has been operating in Thailand for 11 years and has gro
wn continuously. The company has worked with more than 850,000 households, including SME drivers in the food and restaurant sectors, etc. The company aims to create more growth to support these people. Mr. Anthony Tan also mentioned the flood situation in the northern part of Thailand and praised the government’s actions to help flood victims. At the same time, the company is ready to provide full support and assistance.
On this occasion, both parties discussed issues of cooperation between each other. The Prime Minister is ready to cooperate more with the company, especially during the high season from November to January, when the government will organize many big events, which will be an opportunity to drive the Soft Power policy.
