The Prime Minister ordered an inspection of 13,000 gas-powered vehicles, with a deadline of 60 days.


Government House, 8 Oct. – The Prime Minister ordered an inspection of all 13,000 gas-powered vehicles within 60 days, and asked the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and Ministry of Education to consider laws related to people’s travel.

Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, advisor to the Prime Minister, announced the results of the Cabinet meeting that the Prime Minister had ordered the Cabinet meeting after yesterday (October 7) to discuss road safety that all vehicles that use CNG and NGV gas, approximately 13,000 vehicles, must be expedited for inspection within 60 days.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and the Ministry of Education should consider laws related to the travel of people related to the various ministries.

While Mrs. Manoporn Charoensri, Deputy Minister of Transport, informed the Cabinet that she had ordered the Marine Department to inspect all 15,000
passenger ships nationwide and 108 restaurant ships that travel along the various waterways nationwide to inspect 2 types of energy: 1. Energy used for cooking, which is various gas tanks placed in inappropriate places; 2. Energy using natural gas. She will inspect in detail and report back to the meeting. -317 – Thai News Agency
