The Prime Minister wore black to mourn the bus fire.


“Paethongtarn”, Prime Minister, dressed in black to mourn the fire on a school bus, preparing to talk with “Somsak-Kittirat” to update the latest situation – a plan to provide mental relief to those who lost and were affected.

Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, traveled to inspect water management at the Pak Kret Royal Irrigation Department, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, with Ms. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Mr. Suriyapol Nuchanong, Acting Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department, reporting on the water situation.

Reporters reported that Prime Minister Narumon, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, and the Prime Minister’s working group wore black to mourn the incident of a school bus fire.

However, before traveling to Doha, Qatar to attend the 3rd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit on October 2-4, 2024 at 12:00 noon, the Prime Minister invited Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, Minister of Public Health, and Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet,
Acting Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police and Director-General of the Department of Mental Health, Military Airport 2, Wing 6 (B.6), Don Mueang, to discuss and report on the situation and progress of the incident of a school bus fire. In terms of public health, a plan will be proposed to provide mental support to the victims and those affected by this incident.
