The Royal Thai Air Force holds an event to honor Air Force athletes.


The Air Force organized an event to honor Air Force athletes who won medals at the 2024 Olympic Games. Members of the public joined in activities to congratulate the athletes, including a float parade and taking selfies with the athletes.

Air Chief Marshal Panphakdi Pattanakul, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, presided over the ‘Honoring Air Force Athletes Who Won the 2024 Olympic Games’ activity at the front lawn of the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters to welcome and congratulate the Air Force athletes who won a total of 3 Olympic Games 2024 medals, including Flight Lieutenant Panipak Wongpattanakit, gold medal in taekwondo, 49 kg. women, Mr. Wiraphon Wichuma, silver medal in weightlifting, 73 kg. women, and Flight Sergeant Chanchaem Suwanpheng, bronze medal in amateur boxing, 66 kg. women.

In addition, the Air Force opened its doors to welcome the public to join in activities to congratulate the athletes, including a parade of floats, taking selfies with the athletes, and cheering by Tua
Rae Chernyim and Drum Zeed, the Air Force Band. Students from schools located around the Air Force in Don Mueang District, such as Ritthiyawannalai School 1 and 2, Don Mueang Thahan Akat Bamrung School, and Siam Business Administration Technology College, Saphan Mai Campus, joined the activity in great numbers.

Tennis said that what must be done next is to travel to fulfill vows, because there are 3 places in total: Ai Khai at Wat Chedi in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, where she vowed to set off 100,000 firecrackers; Wat Luang Pho Sothon, where she vowed to set off 100,000 boiled eggs; and Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, where she vowed to set off another 10,000 boiled eggs.
