The Senate has submitted an urgent motion to find a way to prevent bus fires.


The Senate has submitted an urgent motion to gather opinions on ways to prevent the school bus fire. The Senate Transport Committee has called in several agencies to investigate the deadly bus.

Reporters reported from the Senate that on October 7, 67, there was a Senate meeting, in which Mr. Mongkol Surassajja, President of the Senate, issued a meeting invitation letter and an important agenda item was to include an urgent motion requesting the Senate to consider finding ways to prevent, resolve, and provide assistance and compensation for the damage caused by the fire incident on a student tour bus, to be submitted to the Cabinet for consideration and action, which was proposed by Mr. Wuttichai Kalyanamitra, Senator.

In addition, the Transport Committee, chaired by Mr. Wuttichai, has scheduled a meeting on October 7 at 1:30 p.m. to consider the case of a school tour bus in Uthai Thani Province catching fire, resulting in many deaths on October 1. Relevant agencies have been invited to attend the meeting,
including the Department of Land Transport, the Association of Transport Operators of Thailand, Dr. Thanapong Jinwong, Director of the Road Safety Academic Center (RSAC), and representatives from the Ministry of Education.-
