Ms. Phakni Wiriyarungsri, co-chair of Money Expo, revealed that the 18th Korat Money Expo, Money Expo 2024 Korat, which is organized under the concept of “Digital Finance for All” during August 9-11, 2024 at The Mall Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, has continuously attracted the public and business operators to choose to use financial and investment services, resulting in more than 5,500 million baht in offline and online transactions throughout the 3 days from more than 11,400 applicants.
The number 1 transaction was home loans and home refinancing, with a total loan amount of over 1,860 million baht, from special interest rate promotions that banks competed with each other in the event. Savings and investment products also received interest from the public who visited the event, with life insurance/insurance and bancassurance ranked second with a total insured amount of over 1,160 million ba
ht. The life insurance type that people were most interested in was endowment life insurance, which pays premiums for a short to medium term and provides coverage up to age 90. The third place was SME loans, with a total loan amount of over 640 million baht.
