The deputy governor of Sa Kaeo signed an order to transfer the district chief who used a gun to threaten a waiter at a pub and seriously injured him out of the area, along with setting up a fact-finding committee.
Progress in the case of the page E-Sao Khui Khao 3 posting a clip with the caption, ‘Big as the sky, the young district chief is extremely arrogant, using a gun to hold the neck of a bar staff member in Sa Kaeo Province before dragging him away to assault him until he was seriously injured… Sa Kaeo’ with an additional comment saying, ‘After the incident, the family went to file a complaint at the Sa Kaeo police station, but were afraid that the case would not progress because the perpetrator is a child of a big family, familiar with influential people in the area.’ This incident occurred at 11:00 p.m. on the night of August 23rd.
After the incident, the victim went to file a complaint with the investigation officer at the Muang Sa Kaeo Police Station, but has not yet issued a summons for the othe
r party to come and give a statement. This is because earlier, the deputy district chief’s girlfriend came to the aforementioned liquor store and went out with a young man who knew the employee at the store who was assaulted.
Later on the night of the incident, the deputy came to drink at the shop for quite some time. Then he went to negotiate with the bar staff to take him to meet the young man who took his girlfriend away from the shop. However, during the conversation, there may have been a communication problem between them because the deputy himself had already had a lot to drink and may not have been able to control his emotions, which led to the incident in the clip that appeared. We will have to wait and see when the deputy’s direct commander will let the deputy meet with the investigator to give his statement.

If they use their power to bully the public, they must be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
The latest is that Sa Kaeo Province has initially reported to the Department of Provincial Administration that the perpetrator is a District Chief of Watthana Nakhon, who is working at the Sa Kaeo Provincial Administration Office. He committed the crime at a restaurant in Mueang Sa Kaeo District. For the prosecution, the province has set up a fact-finding committee to take disciplinary action against the perpetrator. During the fact-finding investigation, Mr. Chaowanet Yimprasert, Deputy Governor of Sa Kaeo Province, acting on behalf of the Governor, has orde
red the perpetrator to be transferred out of the area to work in Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province, effective from today (August 27, 2024) onwards. As for the criminal case, the victim has filed a complaint at Mueang Sa Kaeo Police Station. The province will expedite the follow-up of the case.
