Bangkok: “Phumtham” revealed that “President Trump” is pleased that Thailand has achieved success in the ceasefire, reducing the violence on the Thai-Cambodian border, and praised Thailand for its courage. Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister invited the US leader to visit Thailand.

According to Thai News Agency, today at 9:45 p.m., Royal Thai Air Force Wing 6, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Acting Prime Minister, had a telephone conversation with Mr. Donald Trump, President of the United States. The two leaders discussed the long-standing strategic partnership between Thailand and the United States.

The US President praised Thailand’s courage in ending the violence and said he would assign a team to negotiate the tariffs, which he believes will be satisfactory to both parties. He also praised Thailand’s beauty, natural scenery, and beautiful culture, and expressed his desire to visit the country in the future.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to President Trump for his significant role in promoting conflict resolution and focusing on regional peace. He stated that the US President’s role will be honored, impressed, and remembered in Thai society forever. He also extended an invitation to President Trump to visit Thailand at an appropriate time.
