Tuyen Quang Exports Nearly 8,000 Soi Ha Pomelos to UK

TUYEN QUANG: A ceremony in the northern province of Tuyen Quang marked the commencement of exporting nearly 8,000 Soi Ha pomelos to the United Kingdom. This event, held in Yen Son district, signifies a major step for the province’s export activities, focusing on its OCOP (One Commune One Product) items.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Soi Ha pomelos are among seven OCOP items designated for export to the UK this year. Earlier in October, Tuyen Quang organized a separate ceremony to celebrate the export of six other OCOP products to the UK, which included guava tea, male papaya flower soaked in honey, dried banana, soybean tea bags, lemon syrup, and calamondin syrup. These efforts align with the province’s strategic initiatives to expand its agricultural trade footprint internationally.
