Unseen Niagara Uttaradit: A New Tourist Attraction in Northern Thailand.

Uttaradit: Visit Niagara Falls in Thailand, a new check-in point in Uttaradit Province. The beautiful and clear water curtain is no less than in other countries. Sit and have a picnic and relax in the middle of the water. It is a favorite for those who love playing in the water and taking pictures.

According to Thai News Agency, this attraction, known as Niagara Uttaradit or Huai Khlong Mueang Reservoir, is located in Ban Chambon, Na Yang Subdistrict, Phichai District. It lies only 40 kilometers from Uttaradit Province along Highway No. 11, Uttaradit-Phitsanulok. Recently, continuous rainfall has caused the reservoir to fill and overflow the weir, creating a striking image of a water curtain falling approximately 2 meters high and extending 500 meters. This visual similarity to Niagara Falls has inspired the name ‘Niagara Uttaradit.’

Tourists visiting this location can enjoy walking down to play in the water, having picnics with family, and taking in the serene setting surrounded by lush greenery. The area
has become a popular destination for those who enjoy water activities and photography. The local villagers of Ban Cham Bon are committed to ensuring the safety of tourists and provide amenities such as shops, restaurants, and parking, with a nominal fee of 10 baht per vehicle. The income generated is used for landscape improvements. The reservoir is open for visitors to swim from morning until 6:00 p.m.
