Hanoi: Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan has urged a comprehensive renovation in the operations of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC). This call to action was made during a meeting with the NFVC’s Sponsorship Council held in Hanoi on October 16.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vice President emphasized the need for the NFVC to enhance its effectiveness and transparency in order to better serve the children of Vietnam. The meeting, which included various members of the Sponsorship Council, focused on discussing potential strategies and initiatives that could be implemented to improve the fund’s operations.
The NFVC, established to provide support and resources to underprivileged children across Vietnam, has been instrumental in numerous child welfare initiatives. However, the Vice President’s recent statements highlight a growing need for reform within the organization to adapt to new challenges and increase its impact.
The proposed renovations are expected to include the adoption of new te
chnologies, streamlined processes, and improved oversight mechanisms. These changes aim to ensure that the resources allocated by the NFVC are used efficiently and reach the intended beneficiaries without undue delay.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from the Sponsorship Council to review the current operational strategies of the NFVC and to consider the Vice President’s recommendations in their future planning.
