Vietnam Airlines Introduces Direct Hanoi-Phnom Penh Flights

Hanoi: Vietnam Airlines, the country’s national flag carrier, has inaugurated a direct flight route between Hanoi and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, expanding its network with four scheduled flights per week. This new service, which commenced on October 27, operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing passengers with an additional travel option between the two Southeast Asian nations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the introduction of this route brings the total number of flights between Vietnam and Cambodia to 86 per week. This new service complements the existing routes, which include direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh, as well as routes connecting both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap. Additionally, a trans-Indochina route is available, offering broader connectivity within the region. The expanded flight offerings are expected to facilitate increased travel and trade between the neighboring countries.
