Vietnam and Laos Bolster Security Ties with Bilateral Talks


HANOI—Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long of Vietnam welcomed Deputy Minister of Public Security of Laos, Khamking Phuilamanyvong, to Hanoi on October 14 for a bilateral ministerial meeting aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the public security ministries of the two countries.



According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscored a deepening partnership in security matters, reflecting the ongoing commitment of both nations to collaborate on issues of mutual interest and regional security challenges. The discussions are part of broader efforts to enhance bilateral relations and support security initiatives that benefit both countries.



The visit by the Lao Deputy Minister signifies the importance of the strategic security cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, which continues to be a cornerstone of their diplomatic and security policies.
