Vietnam, EU Aim to Strengthen Cooperation in Green Transition and Sustainable Development


Ho chi minh city: Vietnam and the European Union are set to enhance their collaborative efforts in green transition and sustainable development, as highlighted at the recent plenary session of the Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE 2024).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the session was a part of the event jointly organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on October 21 in Ho Chi Minh City. The forum served as a pivotal platform for discussing the ongoing partnerships and future opportunities between Vietnam and the EU in these critical areas. Participants of the forum, which included key stakeholders and policymakers from both regions, emphasized the importance of international cooperation to achieve substantial progress in sustainable practices and green industrial development.
